I told you that I love playing with wooden blocks, right?

Well… I have so many type of blocks *lucky me*. There are wooden blocks and there are blocks made of durable plastics. And, I love to play with them all!

I think there are so many benefits of playing with blocks. Playing with blocks help with early child development.

Blocks may not be as fancy as other type of toys but there are ideal for early child development because they involve us *the child* as a whole.

I can move my muscles… I can discover shapes in my hand… I can learn to recognize colors and the best of all I can explore my creativity in construction *and destruction.. ha..ha!*

Do you know that it is more fun to play blocks with your own mommy? Yes..yes.. yes!

I love it when mom sit down and play blocks with me. Well, sometimes I didn’t allow her to touch my precious wooden blocks…he..he

But.. still… she just sit there with me and give a big clap when I completed stacking a very high “tower”..yeay!

It makes me so happy.

The colorful wooden blocks that I love to play the most is Imaginarium which contain 75 pieces of cheerful colored wooden blocks of different shapes and sizes. Mom bought it from ToysRUs.
